consider the impact Oregon-grown products have
had on our planet's athletic and recreational

Ocean cooling may solve Antarctic mystery OSLO (Reuters) - Fossil evidence of a cooling of the oceans 35 million years ago may have solved a mystery about how Antarctica froze over in one of the big ... (OMED: this is about then, but is interesting in light of recent reports of oceanic temperature declines now.  Plus, this ancient cooling obviously followed a period when Antarctica didn't have a covering of snow and ice.  One wonders how many SUVs and fossil fueled electricity generating plants it took 35 million years ago to generate the man-caused global warming at that time.)
